The LyoDry Midi Freeze Dryer is a low cost, laboratory freeze dryer offering more freeze drying capacity on an economical scale. Ideal, if you are scaling up your benchtop freeze drying process on a limited budget. With a larger ice condenser capacity of 18Kg, the LyoDry Midi provides larger batch freeze drying on a smaller budget.
A modular freeze dryer, it is designed to work with a wide variety of drying chambers from a standard acrylic chamber up to a 10-shelf SS chamber for increased capacity. LyoDry Midi can also be used as a condenser or solvent trap and sits conveniently beside a standard laboratory bench, with its own integral vacuum pump.
LyoDry Midi is suitable for a wide range of freeze drying duties including pharma, food and beverage, botanical, geological and archaeological conservation applications.
LyoDry Midi was originally designed to directly replace the Edwards EF12K Supermodulyo® freeze dryer, thereby providing end user familiarity and accessory compatibility, and today incorporates the latest freeze drying technologies.
